for a better Windsor Noise . . .

Were GIVING it all away!

OhhHHH Wow! We're going to write all these tunes, then play them,
then cut a CD, and all the pretty wimmins will like us!! And the record
companies will sign us and give us lotsa $$$$, and we will be
rich and famous and so full of dreck that we'll squeak while we walk....
And... and ... and... (OUCH!!! --stop hitting ME!) Awww...Forget it! ....

OK... JUST GIVE THE TUNES AWAY!!!

OOOPS: What is that .WMA thing ? What do I do ??? HUH?

LOTSA free web places DONT LIKE .MP3 files, and they are too big!!!
AND.. folks with slow connections cant listen to the tunes
unless they download the whole thing..
So this is something MiCrow$oft dreamed up...
like REalaudio, except it don't bug you to
upgrade every time you wanna play something...

OK... JUST FIRE UP THE WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER and CLICK on 'EM !!!
If all goes well, they PLAY.. If you have a MAC or NETSCRAPE
YOU can also right-click SAVE and download them for your continued listening pleasure.
If you download them you can click on several at the same time and REALLY
get annoyed fast - If you set WMPlayer to open a new player for each song!

You will need AT LEAST WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER 6.4 to hear this,
But on the good news side of things, it will STREAM nicely over a 28.8 connection!
Really Nice sound quality for the compression level too!
I suggest sticking with Version 6.4 (pull down list) but get the V7
If you want All the beelz & whistles & M$ snooping your downloads

CONFUSED? Tell M$ you only have WIN95 .. It will suggest V6.4

MAC folk: go to the link ABOVE and fiddle for the MAC version.. its there....

Wanna record this stuff to CD, or convert to .mp3 ? Maybe your burner software supports .wma files. . .
Otherwise VISIT
http://www.litexmedia.com, they supposedly have stuff that can xlate .wma into more conventional formats. M$ has a free kit to encode your sample files to .wma, but its a bit hard to find, and they move it every so often... so good hunting..

HOW MANY TUNES CAN WE FIT IN 15M of FREE SPACE ????

PIPE.WMA(8:22) I want it, fill me with desire
3 part female-sounding synthetic voices sing pipe specifications to a samba beat.
Most LIKED in reader POLL
SAUSAGEZ.WMA (3:33) Stuff my hard drive with love
After the lobotomy, relax with a cool beer and your fave fun food!
KLEEN.WMA (5:16) make me a slave to your vague devices
get out the tinfoil hats -- will Mulder's sister EVER return to him?
BEEP.WMA (3:34) take me now you savage mp3 junkie
some days it doesn't pay to get out of bed -- besides the subs are out hunting you.
WINDZOR.WMA (5:16) This town will kill us all yet
get I wannna go to Hamsterdam, where they want figger out from who we ripped the tune and lyrics offa

Bio and other lies. . . .

KBRB was formed out of the ruins of 2 WINDSOR pc-based studio projects
(D'PEROBOT & INFERNAL MACHINE) [the WINDSOR version, not that
novelty band that does disco parodies DAMMIT!] Since you have heard of neither of
these... big deal: KBRB will re-master and re-release all their tunes eventually.

KBRB PRODUCTION MANIFESTO:

1) Computer voices / Random Lyrics.

2) All beats must be translated through multiple digital storage formats b4 use.

3) Harmony and narrative are but signs of our fall from grace --
buy your pathetic fantasy somewhere else Buffy!

Another Neat thing: Very small Win 95/98/etc MP# player

smp3pz.exe

Made by Marcus Barth, who makes the CDCOPY cd ripping & burning program. Freeware, 151k in self-extracting zip file. Just download and run to extract smp3p.exe which is the entire player. Very cute, works for my ancient pentium, ENJOY
